Meet Dr. Winston Grey in Mandeville and Kingston, Jamaica
General Dentist
With over 40 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Winston Grey attended Vaz Preparatory School, Decarteret College for high school and Jamaica College for sixth form. After high school, Dr Grey graduated from The University of West Indies at the top of his class. He then went to Howard University for dental school. He worked in the Washington, DC area for 4 years after dental school. Driven by his passion to restore smiles and make an impact he decided to return to Jamaica. Upon his arrival, he immediately immersed himself working as a government dentist, best known for “extracting the most teeth in any public dental facility in a day”. With over 30 years of public service in Jamaica, he most recently retired and was awarded for long standing service within the government. He has also taught at University of Technology Dental School and was instrumental in creating their dental program. He has also owned and operated his own private practice in Mandeville for over 35 years. More recently, he has joined forces with his daughter, Dr. Suzanne Grey, and closed his private practice to practice dentistry in her state of the art dental office at Grey Orthodontics full-time.
Unlike the modern rush toward high-tech gadgetry, he relies on time-tested techniques, believing that true dentistry is an art that requires patience, skill, and a human touch. Dr. Winston Grey has spent decades perfecting his craft in the world of dentistry. A steadfast believer in precision and tradition, he operates with an unwavering commitment to the principles of classic dentistry. His approach is meticulous, every filling, crown or cleaning is executed with a level of care and attention to detail that has defined his career.
Patients admire his work ethic and trust his judgment implicitly. Many have been visiting him since childhood, now bringing their own children to see him. His reputation for perfection has made him a highly sought-after dentist, and though he demands excellence from himself and his staff, his warmth and wisdom make every visit reassuring.
Through the years, Dr. Grey has seen trends come and go, but he remains steadfast in his belief that good dentistry is about precision, care, and integrity. He may not be quick to adopt the latest innovations, but ask anyone who has sat in his chair, and they’ll tell you—there’s no substitute for experience. Dr Winston Grey; Dentist by profession, carpenter by passion! When he’s not crafting confident smiles, he’s busy crafting wood into masterpieces.
